I've finished reading "The Heavenly village" by Cynthia Rylant.
The Heavenly village
by Cynthia Rylant
ISBN: 0-439-23149-3
On the spine of the book, it said:
A stopping place on the way to perfect happiness...
Everyone goes to heaven. But not everyone gets there right away.
Some spirits aren't quite ready to leave their lives behind.
For these people, there is a stopping place, a place where they may keep half a heart in heaven and half a heart on earth.
This place is called The Heavenly Village.
In a series of touching stories, Newbery award-winner Cynthia Rylant paints a moving picture of the spirits in this village. And in the process, she reminds us that life is an extraordinary gift, and that those we love are never really far away.
There are seven stories in this book, and each story is not connected, so you can read anywhere you want to read first.
The stories are really cute! They are slightly religious, but warm and calm stories.
I thought if there were a village like the heavenly village, it was wonderful!
But also I think it is a novel, there isn't such a stopping place.
What should I do for the rest of my life?
You and I live on this earth, we can continue to have each own wonderful life because of we are still alive! And all is well.
